Let's Get Acquainted
This blog came out of my experiences living in an SUV in the Yellowstone in 2017. Now I am finishing my PhD at Cambridge and still writing about wild places and animals. Rewilding interests me most of all—the idea we could return land and sea to a wild state through reduced intervention.
Some of the "Wild Ideas" featured read as travel blogs with true stories of adventure. See for example "Trapped Alone Underground". Others have an academic slant and are inspired by my ethnographic research in Yellowstone (USA), Poland and Germany.
